What a first consultation covers
An initial homoeopathy consultation is a longer, unhurried conversation. The practitioner asks detailed questions about your health history, current symptoms, what makes them better or worse (modalities), your sleep, mood, digestion, and any medications or treatments you already use. The goal is to match a homoeopathic remedy to the whole person rather than to a single label.
What you receive after the session
- A written plan summarising the case and the practitioner's recommendation.
- Remedy name, potency, and dosage instructions.
- Lifestyle notes relevant to your situation.
- A review timeframe so you know when to check in.
Fees
Consultation fees are published on this page so there are no surprises at booking. Homoeopathy consultations in Australia are generally not covered by Medicare. Some private health funds offer rebates under extras cover for natural therapies; coverage varies by fund, so check directly with your insurer.
Remedies and delivery
Remedies can be dispensed through established Australian homoeopathic pharmacies and delivered to you by post. The plan will include where and how to obtain the specific remedy recommended for your case.
Working alongside your GP
Homoeopathy works alongside conventional medicine; it does not replace it. If you have a diagnosed condition, active treatment, or a situation that warrants medical review, keep your GP in the loop. The practitioner can coordinate with your doctor when that is helpful.
